Powder: Each oz contains min 3,120 mg potassium, min 170 mg magnesium, min 11,060 mg chloride, min 5,390 mg sodium plus bio-available trace minerals. Directions: Can be fed with fortified or unfortified grains. Fortified grains contain added vitamins and minerals. Intake is based on work intensity and amount of sweat lost from body. Electrolytes are electrically charged salts or "ions" such as sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium and calcium which are dissolved and carried in the blood and cell fluids. As salts dissolve in the blood and tissues of the body, electrolytes assist in preserving the correct balance of fluids both inside and outside the cells. • Bio-available Trace Minerals, or chelated minerals, are those that have been bonded to two or more amino acids.
